I'm glad to see that the market for tv stands is beginning to develop options for flat screen tvs. As with most things, the 'new' designs are initially expected to use the support pieces for the 'old' designs (big,giant tube tvs with large, hulking stands). I was really happy to see that this stand is sturdy, easy to assemble and a clean looking design.

Well built, very sturdy, will support larger TVs with ease. Nice glass shelf. The flat steel base has a 5/8" square steel frame (in the shape of home-plate) welded underneath it for rigidity. If you have a carpet that frame will sink in, no problem, but a hard wood floor causes flat base to set 1" in the air. Possible toe stubber. Shaped for room corners but looks good anywhere.

I wanted a nice high stand so that I can watch TV in bed - this is perfect! The top of my TV is easily more than 60inches off the ground and I can comfortably watch TV without straining my neck in bed.

I use this in a corner of the bedroom- it looks good-and the silver finish and clear glass blends in.
The only thing I don't like, is that with my 32 inch tv- which is the smallest size this is made for- you see the ends of the horizontal support bracket from the side. This would not be a problem with a tv 36inch or larger.
(btw-When I opened the box and saw bags and bags of screws nuts and bolts I almost closed the box up to send back!- It winds up that all those bags are to accommodate the various makes and models of TV's- so you only use one bag and the rest are left over ( in case you buy a new TV!)

I am using this product for an event I hold every Wednesday at 8 Oz Burger Bar on Miami Beach.
For MTV Rock Band Bar Nights. Its perfect for the TV and so easy to carry around and adjust how you need it.
I have even been able to tilt it so that the tv is on the floor and it is facing up.
This product is awesome !
